Ian was privileged enough to be exposed to the wilderness at an early age.

His first opportunity to work and photograph wildlife was in the Greater Kruger National Park – as a field guide.

After a few career detours, Ian finally got back to focussing on nature connections and experiences. His life purpose is one of education, conservation and any form of appreciation for the natural world especially through art, photography or guided nature connection safaris.

Based in the beautiful Garden Route near the town of Plettenberg Bay, you may find Ian birding, photographing and getting close to the ocean.
